Most people think that meditation is something that you do. Yet meditation is simply awakening form the continuous thought stream that dominates most peoples lives. Meditation is about being. Being is about being aware of the now, or the present moment. This being present in the now is called mindfulness. In his book “Where Ever You Go, There You Are”  Dr. Zinn defines mindfulness as “paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgementally. “
